Residential & Residencies

First Floor Remodel

The wonderful 1935 house we purchased did not have the tile that was typical of the era.  I stripped all the paint off the walls and designed the tile to be typical of its era using modern materials.

We kept the floors as they were and went with a classic black and white approach.  We repainted the trim and replaced missing glass knobs.

I put up the stained glass widow I had made in Moscow, ID and it works nicely here.

Basement Remodel

I wanted the basement bathroom to feel the same as the first floor one.  Originally it did not have a bathtub so I framed one and added insulation and a high shower for the tall men in our family.

I found another vintage medicine cabinet at Habitat for Humanity to match the one I had found in Moscow that was already installed upstairs.

This basement bathroom is almost finished, just a few more details to go.

MacDonald Elementary

This artist residency had several totems that we created out of clay and made with the 4-6th grade classes.

It was a big project and took lots of help from everyone including the high school art teacher to fire the pieces for me in his larger kiln.

Ron Williams installed the totems.
